Hyderabad: Minister for Labour, Employment, and Mines & Geology Dr Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy on Monday said there was no political struggle within the KCR family at present, but rather a disagreement over the distribution of assets allegedly acquired through the exploitation of state resources.”
Ahead of the municipal elections, the Minister engaged in door-to-door campaigning in Kyathanpalli municipality Wards Nos. 6, 7, 8, and 10, informing residents about the welfare initiatives being implemented by the Congress government. He urged voters to choose Congress candidates to facilitate comprehensive development within the municipal wards.
While addressing the public, the Minister remarked, “I interact with citizens daily during my morning walks, comprehend their concerns, and diligently work to address them promptly. During Balka Suman's tenure as MLA, he never visited the wards or made any notable attempts to understand the issues faced by the community.”
He accused Balka Suman of ignoring the Chennur constituency, despite proclaiming his closeness to KCR as his ‘younger son.’ “He dedicated most of his time at KCR’s residence. Rather than concentrating on addressing public issues, they engaged in promoting illegal land transactions and the sand mafia, accumulating significant wealth. Infrastructure improvements, such as roads and drainage, were only undertaken where bribes were involved,” he asserted.
The Minister emphasized that during his own term as MLA, his primary focus was on enhancing basic infrastructure. He recalled that 3,500 Indiramma houses were constructed in the Chennur constituency and criticized the previous BRS administration for failing to provide even a single Double Bedroom house to impoverished families.
