Malaysia’s PCEB holds road show in Hyderabad

Penang Convention and Exhibition Bureau (PCEB), a State bureau aiming to position Penang, a Malaysian State as the preferred destination for business and event activities, has organised its sixth edition of Penang Roadshow to India 2023 in the city.

Hyderabad: Penang Convention and Exhibition Bureau (PCEB), a State bureau aiming to position Penang, a Malaysian State as the preferred destination for business and event activities, has organised its sixth edition of Penang Roadshow to India 2023 in the city.

This year, the government body is looking forward to attract 800 buyers and trade visitors from India. PCEB predicts around 2500 events to be held in the State which would bring about 2.6 lakh delegates, and an estimated economic impact (EEI) of RM1 billion. The V-Convention, an event hosted bi-annually in Penang with a total delegate of 15,000 in each round, will witness major representation of delegates from India.

Penang State Minister for Tourism and Creative Economy, Yeoh Soon Hin said, “PCEB will be launching the latest meeting and incentive packages to re-establish connections with the India market. These are one of the many efforts in providing a fresh perspective of Penang by including the attractions available in Mainland, Penang.”
