Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Wednesday announced the launch of CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric) Mobility Grand Challenge, in a bid to encourage startups developing solutions in the mobility sector. The challenge, part of the Hyderabad E-Mobility Week, going to be held from February 5-11, 2023, is open for all registered Indian startups.

KT Rama Rao, Minister for IT, and Industries, Malla Reddy, Minister for Labour and Employment formally announced the launch of the Startup Challenge by unveiling the poster and flyer of the event. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary for ITE-C and Industries and Dr Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Special Secretary (Investment Promotion and External Engagement), Director Electronics, Director, Automotives and EV, and the Chief Relations Officer were also present at the event. After the launch, Minister KT Rama Rao said, "I am pleased to announce CASE Mobility Grand Startup challenge, which will go a long way in encouraging startups and fostering innovation in the upcoming mobility areas. This will make Telangana the hub for new mobility. I request all the startups to take advantage of the platform and showcase their ideas to the world."

T-Hub, city-based innovation centre, TiHan, the Innovation Center of IIT Hyderabad and the Telangana Mobility Valley will be supporting the startup challenge.
