Hyderabad: Citizens from various regions gathered at Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan in Greenlands, to participate in the ongoing Praja Darbar, now in its fourth consecutive day as of Monday.

The Praja Darbar initiative, inaugurated by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy last Friday, facilitates the submission of grievance applications by the public. Ahead of the scheduled 10 a.m. start time, a substantial number of attendees arrived at the venue, queuing up to address their concerns. Although the Chief Minister did not personally attend the Praja Darbar, IT Minister D Sridhar Babu engaged with applicants at Jhotirao Phule Praja Bhavan.

Minister Babu emphasized the inclusion of address and contact details in the applications for expeditious resolution of grievances. Moreover, he discussed with applicants regarding requests to postpone the TE GENCO Assistant Engineer entrance exams scheduled for December 17, owing to conflicting examination dates. The Minister assured the public that this matter was deliberated with the Chief Minister, who would soon communicate the decision after consulting the TS Genco officials.

Among the public appeals were petitions for pension regularization and the reinstatement of discontinued midday meals. Furthermore, Minister Babu coordinated with officials to ensure there were convenient arrangements at the venue. Facilities such as drinking water, tents, and wheelchairs were provided for differently-abled individuals, with the program expected to continue until evening.

Supervision of the Praja Darbar arrangements was conducted by GHMC Commissioner Ronald Ross, Ayush department head Harichandan, Senior IAS officer Mussharaf Ali, Hyderabad Collector Anudeep Durishetty, Khairtabad zonal commissioner Venkatesh Dhotri, and other officials.
