Hyderabad: Congress’ efforts are on to appease the minority community as the leading Opposition party is solely dependent on them for vote bank. Congress has to come to realise that the majority will favour Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his courageous decisions to protect India’s culture, and implement effectively various schemes, said Telangana BJP official spokesperson N V Subhash here on Wednesday.
The Congress manifesto has given out an unambiguous message that it has lost hope in the majority, and hence it is approaching Muslims as the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections is “do or die” for the Congress party to protect its existence, Subhash said adding that voters of the country are determined to give Modi government another chance on its performance. Even the Muslims are extending support to the NDA government, he pointed out.
Taking a dig at Mohmmed Ali Shabbir, Advisor to Telangana government, who stated that ‘Nyay Patra’ of Congress is a boon to communities, Subhash said that the gist of its manifesto is “Anti-Hindu and Anti-India,” and it is not even a boon for minorities as this community will be treated as “vote bank” only.
Subhash appealed voters to not fall into the trap laid by Congress as they have assured in the manifesto to revert all decisions taken under Modi government.
