CII Yi opens two bus shelters in tribal area

Visakhapatnam: As part of its initiatives, Young India (Yi), Visakhapatnam Chapter members supported by Tata Steel established two transport shelters at Bodlamamidi and Busipett villages in Araku Valley.

The bus shelters were inaugurated on Tuesday benefiting nearly 1,600 tribal families of the two villages. Rural Initiative Vertical of CII-Yi is actively engaged in empowering the rural areas and educating the children to be safe and healthy. The objective of bus stops is to improve the quality of life for residents by providing them with convenient transportation options in rural areas, said Divya Jammula, chair, Yi Visakhapatnam Rural Initiative Vertical.
