BJP Slams Revanth Govt For Inaction On Public Issues
NV Subash

Hyderabad: Launching a sharp attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's leadership, BJP spokesperson NV Subash highlighted a series of tragic incidents, alleging the State government's negligence and lack of urgency in dealing with critical issues. Subash accused the government of failing to address a growing wave of distress and unrest among citizens.
Subash condemned the tragic suicide of 48-year-old farmer Jadav Devrao from Saidupur village, Adilabad, reportedly triggered by harassment from bank officials. Despite the severity of the case, Subash pointed out that the Chief Minister and his administration have remained silent, failing to address the ongoing issues farmers are facing in the State, according to a BJP press release on Monday.
He also drew attention to the recent suicide of an auto driver from Yellandu mandal, bringing the total number of auto-rickshaw driver suicides in Telangana to a shocking 94. The BJP accused the government of turning a blind eye to the plight of such workers, ignoring their economic struggles.
Another distressing incident was highlighted by Subash: the death of a 28-year-old man from Maheshwaram, who lost his life in a road accident caused by a pack of stray dogs. Despite repeated warnings from the BJP and a formal memorandum submitted to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner and Mayor, the government has failed to take meaningful action to address the growing threat of street dogs.
Subash further criticized the government's inaction over a water supply issue affecting farmers in Lakshmapuram village, Suryapet. Despite protests by the farmers, who are demanding restoration of water through the SRSP 70 DBM canal, the government has shown no willingness to intervene, leaving the farmers in a state of distress.
