AP govt seeks public input for Vision 2047

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Wednesday resolved to launch a massive opinion gathering exercise on ‘Vikasit AP’ vision document to be unveiled on October 2.
Chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the meeting held at the Secretariat at Velagapudi near Vijayawada, the meeting decided to hold grama sabhas to explain to the people at the grassroots on the NDA government’s long-term goals and elicit their opinion on how to improve it. The government wants to make AP a $2 trillion economy by 2047.
Briefing reports later, Information and Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said the Cabinet decided to abolish the reverse tendering system for all the departments as per the guidelines issued by the CVC.
