Amaravati: A day after the resignation of YSRCP Rajya Sabha members Mopidevi Venkataramana and B Mastan Rao, two prominent MPs from the Opposition party Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy and Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose on Friday firmly dismissed recent speculation that they are leaving the party.

There have been reports doing the rounds in the vernacular dailies and social media that six more YSRCP MPs are readying to cross over to TDP or BJP. Before the resignation of Mopidevi and Mastan Rao, YSRCP had 11 members in the Upper House. TDP has no representation in Rajya Sabha at present. Speaking to the media at the party central office here, Subash Chandra Bose clarified that the reports about him leaving the party were false. Asserting that the YSR family has always supported him, he said he was loyal and dedicated to the YSR family although he may not be wealthy in financial terms.

He mentioned that he entered politics because he believed in the vision of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and his journey in politics will continue with Jagan Mohan Reddy. Industrialist Ayodhya Rami Reddy reiterated his commitment to the YSRCP and the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Both MPs condemned the speculation about them and other Rajya Sabha members leaving the party.
