1st Indian from TS set to head ICCA

Hyderabad: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) said its former president and the Managing Director of Central India Packaging Co Pvt Ltd, ML Agarwal, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman II of the International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA), USA. He will eventually take over as the Chairman during 2025-2027.
"FTCCI feels proud as for the first time, an Indian has been honored as the Vice Chairman of the International Corrugated Case Association, since its inception in 1961. FTCCI congratulates ML Agarwal on his appointment," the trade body said in a statement.
FTCCI further informed that for the 2027 Global Summit, Hyderabad has been selected as the location, that will be held on January 28-30, 2027. The new VC of ICCA, ML Agarwal has earlier received the "Udyog Patra" award for the year 1989 from the Vice President of India.
