The suspense-packed horror thriller Wolf Man is all set to hit regular OTT streaming platforms. After a theatrical release earlier this year, the film is now gearing up to reach a wider audience through JioHotstar.

Wolf Man, starring Christopher Abbott, will be available for streaming on JioHotstar starting May 17. The film had a theatrical release on January 17, 2025, and is now coming to OTT exactly four months later. While it was previously available on some platforms via rental, JioHotstar subscribers can watch it without any additional charges.

About the Film

Directed by Leigh Whannell, Wolf Man delivers gripping suspense and unexpected twists. The story revolves around Blake (Christopher Abbott), who takes his wife Charlotte (Julia Garner) and their daughter to a remote farmhouse for a peaceful retreat. But things take a dark turn when they’re attacked by mysterious creatures. While trying to survive, a shocking transformation occurs—Blake himself begins turning into a monster. What caused this transformation? What happens to his family? These chilling questions are answered as the plot unfolds.

With a production budget of around $25 million, Wolf Man earned approximately $35 million (about ₹294 crore) during its theatrical run. Although it managed decent numbers, it fell slightly short of box office expectations. The film was produced under the banners of Universal Pictures, Blumhouse Productions, and Clock and Co.
