Jenna Ortega and Lady Gaga in Wednesday Season 2, which still ranked No. 1 on Netflix despite lower viewership for Part 2.

Even though Season 2 Part 2 of Jenna Ortega's popular Netflix series Wednesday saw a 43% decrease in views compared to Part 1, the show is still at the top of the English-language TV chart.
With the release of Season 2 Part 2 earlier this month, Netflix's gothic comedy-drama Wednesday is still at the top of the charts. In their first five days (September 1–7, 2025), the last four episodes received 28.2 million views. But compared to Season 2 Part 1, which debuted in August with 50 million views during the same time frame, the numbers show a notable 43.6% drop.
Fans Continue to Watch
Despite the release, Wednesday, which starred Lady Gaga and Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, remained at the top of Netflix's English-language TV rankings. Remarkably, Season 2 Part 1 remained strong as well, coming in at number 6, indicating that viewers are still getting caught up on the series.
Because Part 1 has received more marketing attention, industry observers speculate that some viewers may be waiting to binge-watch the entire season, while others may not be aware that Part 2 is out. Regarding the potential impact of these viewership trends on Season 3 renewal plans, Netflix has not yet provided a statement.

What Will Happen on "Wednesday"?
Despite a decline in Wednesday's Part 2 performance, the series continues to be Netflix's top English-language title of the week, demonstrating its ongoing appeal. Fans are holding out hope for an official Season 3 announcement because industry rumours indicate Netflix may still view the show as a flagship franchise, even with Ortega and Gaga leading the cast.
