Director Saailu Kaampati’s emotional romantic drama Raju Weds Rambai is ready for its digital premiere following a successful theatrical run. Story and Cast

The story revolves around Raju (Akhil Raj), a lively young man from a small village near Illandu. He manages his family’s traditional band troupe along with his parents, portrayed by Shivaji Raja and Anita Chowdary. Raju falls in love with Rambai (Tejaswini), the daughter of Venkatanna (Chaitu Jonnalagadda), a compounder at a government hospital.

Trouble begins when Rambai’s father discovers their relationship.He prioritizes social honor and reputation over personal happiness and also opposes the union very much. The plot then takes an emotionally charged route which has an impact on both families and reveals the themes of love, ego, sacrifice, and the burden of strict social norms.

Akhil Raj and Tejaswini, even if they are new faces, still give performances that are true and very well balanced emotionally, being their spontaneous chemistry an advantage to the story's credibility. Chaitu Jonnalagadda plays a hard father very convincingly, and the rest of the cast also helps to the movie's emotional richness.
