Mirai OTT Release Date: When Will Teja Sajja’s Superhero Film Hit Digital Platforms?

Much has been said about the superhero trend that's burgeoning in Telugu cinema, and Mirai, Teja Sajja's latest release, is certainly fulfilling the box office promise.

The movie is doing very well and holding strong, bringing in 6 crores net in India across all languages by the fourth day. Monday alone saw another 5.96 crore coming in, just proving the fact that people are seeing this cinematic spectacle on big screens.

Having brought in collections of ₹50.56 crores over four days since release, Mirai has rightfully earned a position as one of the biggest Pan-India releases of this year.

Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film is not your usual superhero story. Taking a dash of Indian mythology, it tells the story of a celestial staff of great power that somehow chooses its wielder. Teja Sajja was chosen to portray the reluctant hero bestowed with this divine power, bringing to life splendid VFX-aided action sequences for the big screen. The film also has a strong ensemble cast led by Shriya Saran, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, and Manchu Manoj as the antagonist.

Having been released in eight languages on September 12th, the film has gathered universal acclaim for its grand scale and rooted storytelling, and hence, did enormously well at the box office.

Mirai OTT Release Date

With such a big-time stage performance, fans have been eagerly awaiting the digital premiere. It usually happens that Pan-India films grace the OTT platforms four to six weeks after their theatrical release. With premiers in multiple languages comes the belief that it will go digital around October 24, 2025. But if the dates are pushed back, then the digital release shall finally be on the 31st of October in 2025.
