The bestselling author and creator of The Summer I Turned Pretty, Jenny Han, has excited fans with a new Instagram Story that seems to confirm Belly's long-teased trip to Paris in the most recent season of the show.
Jenny Han's Easter Egg on Instagram
Han included a screenshot of SZA and Travis Scott's song "Open Arms" in her post, emphasising the line "C'est la vie, go to Paris." She gave fans a clear hint at Belly's Paris plot by adding the caption, "Easter egg from the first episode of the season."
This hint is related to the opening of season 3, when the opening theme music was used for Belly and Jeremiah's college experiences. The Paris component now gives Belly's journey a new twist because her wedding to Jeremiah has already been called off and she is getting back in touch with Conrad.
