Ram Pothineni's most recent project Andhra King Taluka featuring Bhagyashree Borse and the superstar of Kannada cinema Upendra is on its way to the digital platform. The movie is directed by P. Mahesh Babu known for Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The film was released in cinemas on November 27 and received good reviews.
Despite having great word-of-mouth and being praised for Ram's energetic acting, gripping plot, and catchy tunes, the film only managed to reap moderate box-office shocks. The supporting cast consists of Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Rajiv Kanakala, Tulasi, Sindhu Tolani, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya, and VTV Ganesh.
Netflix has secured the digital rights of Andhra King Taluka. The industry sources suggest that the film will be available for streaming as a Christmas special on December 25, 2025, although the official confirmation is still awaited.
Ram’s portrayal of a devoted fan and Upendra’s brief yet impactful role as Andhra King Suryakumar earned praise from fans. The film, which reportedly collected around ₹30 crore worldwide, is now anticipated to reach a wider audience on OTT.
