One of India’s greatest epics, ‘Mahabharat’, is returning to screens in a first-of-its-kind AI-led reimagined series, blending ancient storytelling with modern technology.
The series, produced by Collective Media Network, will have its exclusive digital premiere on WAVES OTT on October 25, 2025, and will later air on Doordarshan every Sunday at 11:00 AM, beginning November 2, 2025.
According to an official statement, the show will be available simultaneously for digital audiences across India and abroad, marking a milestone collaboration between India’s public broadcaster Prasar Bharati and a next-generation media network.
