If you need a fresh injection of K-drama magic for your weekend watchlist, then there is something to entertain everybody, from soulful romances to fantasy epics and even dark comedies. Laughter, tears, or a good mix of the two-the recipe-all in one dichotomy-these are the five brand new Korean dramas you might binge on Netflix, tvN, MBC TV, and Viki.

1. Spirit Fingers (Viki – Episodes 1–4, Streaming Now)

Spirit Fingers is a colourful coming-of-age story about a shy high school girl coming into her own and finding her voice through art. Starring Park Ji Hu, Jo Joon Young, and Bomin, the series pays tribute to creativity and self-expression as the protagonist discovers an eccentric sketch club known as "Red Finger."

With its vibrant visuals and heartfelt message about finding your place in the world, this is a youth drama that needs to be on the must-watch list for anyone who enjoyed Extraordinary You or A Time Called You.

2. Moon River (MBC TV – Premiered October 31, 2025)

A grand historical fantasy drama that blends romance, magic, and revenge, Moon River stars Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong. The story follows a crown prince who switches bodies with a commoner who looks exactly like his late queen, which starts the chain of destiny, love, and political intrigue.

With its glowing cinematography and royal-era storytelling, Moon River is bound to be one of the most visually-heavenly K-dramas of 2025.

3. Last Summer (Viki – Episodes 1 & 2, November 1–2)

If you like romantic comedies with a hint of nostalgia, Last Summer will surely tickle your fancy. With Lee Jae Wook, Choi Sung Eun, and Kim Gun Woo in the lead, the drama is about two childhood friends who meet again after years because of a dispute over a property called "Peanut House."

As they sort through old memories and past feelings, the chemistry between the leads and the light humour make this a great binge for the weekend.

4. Shin's Project (tvN – Final Episodes: October 27–28)

If the dark comedy is here in the ending this weekend, it just has to give people a chance if they never got around to watching.

Han Suk Kyu stars in Shin's Project, playing a top negotiator once-forgotten-turned-fried chicken restaurant-owner with an intriguing hidden past.

Balancing wit and suspense, the drama navigates retribution and human intricacies with social observations in its arsenal. An emotionally satisfying closure is guaranteed.

5. Typhoon family (tvN, Netflix-ongoing)

Lee Jun-ho, Kim Min-ha, and Sung Dong-il lead this touching family story, exploring love, betrayal, and reconciliation. While at times humorous, at others heartbreaking, the series depicts a family struggling to mend relationships amid personal turmoil and professional chaos.

The show airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM KST, continuing to grow in gushes and praises for its genuine storytelling and performances.
