Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad receives award

Hyderabad: Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan has been conferred with AsiaOne Diplomatic Excellence Award for 2024-25.

Dr Khan has been given this award in recognition of his efforts in boosting trade, tourism, and cultural links between India and Kazakhstan. Yermek Aitmagambetov, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in India, received the award on behalf of Dr Khan, at the SIT20 Saudi Arabia India Thailand 20 Summit, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, on Thursday.

This award highlights Dr Khan’s dedication to fostering bilateral relations and promoting mutual understanding between the two nations. As Honorary Consul, Dr Khan has been instrumental in strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring new opportunities for cooperation between India and Kazakhstan, an official press release mentioned.
