BRS Vows to Make Warangal Silver Jubilee a Historic Triumph: MLC Dasoju Sravan

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is mobilizing on a war footing to ensure its 25th anniversary Silver Jubilee public meeting on April 27 in Warangal becomes a defining moment, declared MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan on Wednesday. Speaking at a massive preparatory meeting of the party workers in Ramsinghpura in Karwan assembly constituency, he rallied the cadre for the grand event while unleashing a blistering critique of the Congress government’s 16-month tenure.

Dr Sravan said that the Silver Jubilee marks a proud milestone for BRS party founded by former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to secure Telangana statehood. “This is not just a celebration of 25 years but a powerful reaffirmation of our commitment to Telangana’s people,” he stated.

He called on the party workers from Karwan to join lakhs of supporters in Warangal by turning the event into a “pink festival” that reflects the party’s unyielding grassroots strength. “We aim to make this a historic gathering that resonates across the state,” he added.

He alleged that the ruling Congress party Pushed Telangana into Crisis in the last 16 Months.

Taking the ruling Congress to task, Dr Sravan said that the Warangal meeting would spotlight the stark contrast between the BRS’s decade of transformative governance and the current administration’s failures.

“Under former CM KCR, Telangana reached new heights in development and welfare and in just 16 months, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s mismanagement has derailed this progress and plunged the state into a crisis,” he alleged. He accused the Congress of betraying the public with unfulfilled promises and neglecting critical sectors like employment, irrigation, and agriculture while pledging that BRS would lay bare this “destructive misrule” before the people.

Dr Sravan said that the Silver Jubilee event would serve as a launchpad for BRS’s resurgence with KCR delivering a roadmap to revitalize the party. “KCR’s address will inspire our cadres and set a clear path to reclaim power,” he remarked. He expressed absolute confidence in KCR’s return by stating that the people’s trust in his leadership is unshakable and he will come back as the Chief Minister for the third time. He pointed to KCR’s recent district-level engagements as a proof of the party’s growing momentum.
