Launched on September 23, 2025, by the Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan, the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 is to involve over 10 million students from more than 1.5 lakh schools all over India. Innovations are encouraged under the four main themes — Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddhi.
