Vande Bharat Network Expands, Hyderabad Set to Welcome Three New Trains

The Vande Bharat Express, India's fastest train, has garnered significant popularity among passengers since its January launch, boasting an impressive 120% occupancy rate. Furthermore, three additional trains are poised for launch in Hyderabad, potentially transforming travel options in the region.

These forthcoming trains are likely to serve the following routes in Hyderabad:

1. Kacheguda to Yeshwantpur (Bengaluru)

2. Secunderabad to Pune

3. Secunderabad to Nagpur

4. Vijayawada to Chennai via Tirupati, as indicated by a report.

One notable highlight is the Vande Bharat Express's role in significantly reducing travel time between Hyderabad and Bengaluru, with expected time savings of up to 3.7 hours. The train's journey will commence at Kacheguda railway station at 6 a.m., reaching Yeshwantpur by 2:30 p.m., covering a distance of 615 kilometers. The return journey is scheduled to depart from Yeshwantpur at 3 p.m., reaching Kacheguda by 11:30 p.m.

The Vande Bharat Express has already completed trial runs on the Nagpur and Bengaluru sections, signaling its intent to expand its operations in the near future. Additionally, there are plans to replace the Shatabdi Express on the Pune route with the Vande Bharat Express, potentially increasing the total number of these high-speed trains to five. The South Central Railway (SCR) has made significant rail network upgrades on these routes, enabling the trains to operate at a maximum speed of 130 kmph. Passengers eagerly anticipate the launch of the Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur Vande Bharat Express, which promises to connect two prominent IT hubs, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
