At the Snapdragon Auto Day hosted by Times Network, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, officially launched the ‘Brake The Habit’ campaign, an initiative aimed at promoting responsible driving and road safety awareness across India.

The campaign was introduced by Rohit Chadda, COO and President of Times Network, who emphasized the changing dynamics of India’s automotive industry. “Cars today are no longer just machines—they are smart, responsive, and evolving. India is at the heart of this transformation,” Chadda said.

Key Highlights from Snapdragon Auto Day:

Brake The Habit Campaign: A comprehensive drive focused on improving road safety through social engagement, community initiatives, and digital content. It aims to instill safe driving habits among the masses.

Road Safety Anthem 'Parvaah': Adding to the impact, Shankar Mahadevan unveiled the anthem "Parvaah", a powerful musical appeal to promote cautious and responsible driving. The performance served as an emotional reminder of the importance of traffic discipline and safety.

Auto Industry Insights: Minister Gadkari shared key updates, noting that global automakers are increasingly testing their vehicles in India. “This highlights the strength of our road infrastructure and the confidence international players have in Indian standards,” he stated.

Introduction of Times Drive AI: Rohit Chadda also introduced Times Drive AI, an AI-powered tool designed to assist users in selecting vehicles based on their preferences and budget. Future plans include integrating insurance suggestions, resale support, and post-sales service tools.

Qualcomm’s Vision for Automotive Future

The event also featured Savi Soin, India President at Qualcomm, who presented the company’s roadmap for automotive innovation in the country. A major attraction was Snapdragon Digital Chassis and the unveiling of FYI RAIDIO, an AI-based interactive radio system that can deliver personalized information and music.

The Snapdragon Auto Day event showcased how technology and awareness campaigns can converge to make Indian roads safer and the automotive experience smarter.
