India’s benchmark index Nifty 50 extended its winning streak for a second consecutive session on Wednesday, closing comfortably above the crucial 25,100 mark, which analysts now view as the new support level. The bullish momentum has raised hopes for further upside in the coming sessions.

Technical Outlook

According to Aditya Gaggar, Director at Progressive Shares, the Nifty 50 has given a "decisive close above 25,100," indicating strong buying support. “With this momentum, the index is likely headed toward the 25,350–25,450 zone in the near term,” he said.

Brokerage Bajaj Broking echoed the optimism, noting that Nifty is currently testing the upper boundary of a six-week range between 24,500 and 25,250. “A sustained close above this upper band will confirm a breakout and open the path toward 25,500 levels,” the brokerage said in a note.

Bank Nifty Levels to Watch

For Bank Nifty, Bajaj Broking identified 54,000–54,500 as the key support range. On the upside, it sees potential for the index to retest 57,050, assuming the broader bullish sentiment continues.
