Vijayawada: Best Enterprises and Indore Infoline Pvt Ltd have launched a three-day Industrial and Engineering Expo here at SS Convention, Labbipet on Friday.
The expo is approved by the MSME Ministry and provided subsidy to participants up to 100 per cent as per guidelines. It is also supported by National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Andhra Pradesh MSME Industries Association and Federation of AP Small and Medium Industries Associations. Nearly 10,000 visitors are expected to visit the expo from across the country. The event will benefit the industries of Vijayawada in particular and Andhra Pradesh in general in getting latest technology exposure and provide an opportunity for networking by the MSME units. This year focus is on green energy and solar power energy. Visitors will get the latest information on solar power plants and rooftop power generation.
Organisers said the expo is showcasing 5,000 units of various industrial products, the biggest-ever in the city and Andhra Pradesh. The gross value of these products on display, they said, might cross Rs 40 crore. The organisers expect to register a sale worth Rs 50 crore over a period of next one year from all participating brands.
More than 85 exhibitors from across the country from cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur and Vijayawada are showcasing their products like industrial automation, machine tools, bearings, switchgears, welding equipment, power tools, hand tools, cutting tools, scientific and lab equipment, pre-engineering materials, material handling, safety , maintenance and other products.
