Global companies announce massive investment commitments at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 in Bharat Future City.

The Telangana Rising Global Summit, which was a major investment boost, started on Monday and on its first day alone, it got the commitments of ₹2.43 lakh crore (more than $22 billion). The two-day summit, which took place at Bharat Future City and was attended by Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, attracted global leaders and top Indian industry executives.
A standout announcement came from the Trump Media & Technology Group, whose director Eric Swider revealed an investment intent of $10 billion (₹1 lakh crore) dedicated to the development of Bharat Future City. In total, more than 35 MoUs valued at ₹1.9 lakh crore were signed across diverse sectors in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
CM Revanth Reddy Sets Global Ambition for Telangana
Speaking at the inauguration, Revanth Reddy said Telangana aims to compete with global economies such as China, Japan, Germany, South Korea, and Singapore, not just Indian states. He noted that the state seeks to emulate the rapid development model of China’s Guangdong province to achieve the Telangana Rising 2047 vision of building a $3 trillion economy.

Deep Tech, Smart Cities & Infrastructure — ₹1.04 Lakh Crore
₹75,000 crore pledged by the Brookfield–Axis Ventures consortium for Bharat Future City, envisioned as a net-zero, innovation-driven urban ecosystem.
₹27,000 crore commitment from Vietnam’s Vingroup for sustainable smart development projects.
Renewable Energy & Power Security — ₹39,700 Crore
₹31,500 crore MoU signed with Evren–Axis Energy for large-scale solar and wind energy projects.
₹8,000 crore investment by MEIL Group for integrated power and mobility infrastructure.
Aerospace, Defence & Logistics — ₹19,350 Crore
GMR Group announced a ₹15,000 crore expansion of its aviation, cargo, MRO, and logistics capabilities.
₹1,500 crore each from Apollo Microsystems and Solar Aerospace & Defence for defence manufacturing, missile avionics, and aero-engine structures.
Advanced Manufacturing & Core Industries — ₹13,500 Crore
₹7,000 crore in MoUs from Renewsys, Midwest, and Akshat Greentech for PCB and high-precision component production.
₹1,000 crore investment by Sohhytech India to develop distributed hydrogen technologies.
Trump Group’s Big Bet on Bharat Future City
Eric Swider said the Trump Group’s investment will focus on four pillars of Bharat Future City:
smart city infrastructure, core physical infrastructure, real estate, and entertainment & retail ecosystems.
“We have seen technologies here that I’m very excited to invest in. The chief minister has made it clear that Telangana is open for business and poised for growth,” Swider said.
Other Major Announcements
Adani Ports & SEZ MD Karan Adani announced a ₹2,500 crore, 48 MW green data center in Telangana, aimed at supporting advanced AI, cloud, and high-performance computing needs.
Apollo Hospitals Executive Vice-Chairperson Shobhana Kamineni confirmed a ₹1,700 crore investment over the next three years, which will include the expansion of the Apollo Proton Centre and a new innovation hub in the state.
