Surf Excel has entered the Top 5 in the in-home category for the first time as per Brand Footprint, as per India report, which was released by Worldpanel by Numerator on August 20.

“Surf Excel has entered the Top 5 for the first time. This could be possible as Tata Consumer was out of the Top 5 club this year,” K Ramakrishnan, Managing Director- South Asia, Worldpanel by Numerator told Bizz Buzz.

While larger brands are experiencing a slowdown, the market remains vibrant with regional and challenger brands steadily gaining ground, he said.

The report ranks the Most Chosen (in-home & out-of-home) FMCG Brands based on Consumer Reach Points (CRP’s). CRP considers the actual purchase made by consumers and the frequency at which these purchases are made in a calendar year.
