Sudha Murty to address AU alumni meet on Saturday

Andhra University Annual Alumni Meet (WAVES-2025) is scheduled to be held on Saturday under the auspices of AU Alumni Association (AAA) with the active support and Association of Andhra University.

Rajya Sabha nominated member Sudha Murty, who is the Founder Chairperson, Infosys Foundation and Chairperson, Murty Trust, will be the chief guest. Dr G.M.Rao, founder chairman of AAA, an eminent industrialist and an illustrious alumnus of AU, will preside. The theme of WAVES-2025 is women empowerment.

This meet aims to bring alumni from various affiliated colleges, from various countries, campus colleges, academicians, researchers, and members from the university community. The program will include reflections from the alumni on the centennial journey of the institutions and felicitations to the distinguished Alumni. This year alumni from overseas, Delhi, Hyderabad, Amaravathi and Godavari chapters are expected to participate.

Andhra University alumni are committed to supporting its alma mater and fostering relationships with the industry. Alumni bond with alma mater strengthens AU's journey of excellence and heritage. Alumni will extend its support to make AU a global university of par excellence. The university shall be a place of learning for the students across the globe, a member of the organising committee said here on Tuesday.

Alumni from affiliated colleges, alumni passed out of AU, academicians, current students, faculty members, AU staff are invited to participate and make WAVES 2025 a grand success. As a special gesture all women followers of Sudha Murty are welcome to attend the event.

The theme for this year's AAA event is “Women Empowerment, century of excellence, a promise of future.
