The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the SSC CGL Exam Date 2025 on its website, ssc.gov.in
. The Tier 1 examination will be held from September 12 to September 26, 2025, in a single shift each day.
This year, the SSC CGL 2025 is being conducted to fill 14,582 vacancies under Group B and C posts including Assistant Section Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Assistant Enforcement Officer, and Sub-Inspector (CBI). Around 27–28 lakh candidates have applied for the exam.

The Tier 1 paper will have 100 questions (200 marks) across four sections, with a total duration of 60 minutes.
