IPL 2026 Mock Auction: Cameron Green Tops the Charts, Sarfaraz Khan Hits the Jackpot; Full List of Sold and Unsold Players
IPL 2026 mock auction sees Cameron Green top bids, Sarfaraz Khan strike big, and several star players surprisingly remain unsold.
Cameron Green emerged as the most expensive player in the IPL 2026 mock auction, drawing a massive bid ahead of the Abu Dhabi auction.

The cricketing world is getting thrilled with the IPL 2026 auction set for Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. JioStar, the broadcaster, conducted a mock auction on Monday, which provided a glimpse of the possible bidding trends— and it gave some huge figures.
The Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was the top player in the mock auction with the price of unbelievable ₹30.50 crore. The former Indian wicketkeeper Robin Uthappa, who represented KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders), made an unconditional effort to get Green, and thus he became the biggest player's buy of the day.
Indian cricketer Liam Livingstone was the one who attracted the highest bid from the Lucknow Super Giants, who outbid everyone with their ₹19 crore offer for the fiery all-rounder. Royal Challengers Bengaluru officially let the player go and put him up for sale at the IPL 2025 auction after his dismal season, but the mock auction was a clear testimony that the player's market value is still well above average.
The name Sarfaraz Khan was the Indian player who was rather fortunate and had his **pay out of ₹7 crore from** CSK (Chennai Super Kings) as a consolation prize. Prithvi Shaw's movement was relatively low-priced, but the leggie Rahul Chahar and wrist-spinner Ravi Bishnoi were lucky to receive huge bids, which is an indication of the premium for quality spin options.
Matheesha Pathirana, David Miller, Gerald Coetzee, and Anrich Nortje were some of the names among international players that were sold for high prices. Still, some big names in the cricket world caught everyone by surprise when they went unsold in the mock auction.
Top Buys in IPL 2026 Mock Auction:
Cameron Green (₹30.50 cr, KKR), Liam Livingstone (₹19 cr, LSG), Matheesha Pathirana (₹13 cr, KKR), Ravi Bishnoi (₹11.50 cr, RR), Rahul Chahar (₹10 cr, CSK), David Miller (₹9.50 cr, DC), Sarfaraz Khan (₹7 cr, CSK).
Unsold Players:
Ben Duckett, Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway.
The mock auction attracted numerous former Indian players representing franchises as Robin Uthappa (KKR), S. Badrinath (SRH), Suresh Raina (CSK), Anil Kumble (RCB), Cheteshwar Pujara (GT), Abhinav Mukund (MI), Mohammad Kaif (DC), Irfan Pathan (LSG), Sanjay Bangar (PBKS) and Aakash Chopra (RR) were all present, thus creating a greater anticipation for the official IPL 2026 auction.
