New Delhi: State-owned power producer SJVN Ltd on Monday said its 60MW Naitwar Mori hydro electric project Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand has begun commercial operations.
The project will generate 265.5 million units of electricity annually, a regulatory filing by the company said. “Company has commissioned both the units of 60 MW (2X30MW) Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station (NMHPS) on River Tons, a major tributary of River Yamuna in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand,” it stated.
