Shillong Teer is held in two rounds:

• First Round: Being 30 arrows shot by professional archers.

The numbers can be anything between 0 and 99, with prediction about the number of arrows that will hit the target. Tickets from authorized sellers come in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, and Rs 50.

• Hit the right number in the first round (Rs 1 ticket): Rs 80
• Hit the right number in the second round (Rs 1 ticket): Rs 60
• Hit the right numbers in both rounds (Rs 1 on each): Up to Rs 4,000
