RRB Group D Exam Date 2025 revised: Candidates can now download their exam city intimation slip from regional RRB websites.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the revised schedule for the Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT-1), with the exam now set to take place from November 27, 2025, to January 16, 2026. The updated dates follow a court ruling that settled the eligibility dispute over whether Group D posts should be open exclusively to ITI-certified candidates or also to Class 10 pass applicants. The verdict confirms that both ITI and Class 10 candidates are eligible.
Originally scheduled to begin on November 17, the examination was postponed pending the court’s decision. With the issue resolved, RRB has moved forward with the new examination timeline.
Exam City Intimation Slip Released
RRB has issued the exam city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the CBT. The slip can be downloaded from the respective regional RRB websites. It will also contain the SC/ST free travel authority, where applicable.
Candidates will be able to download their E-call letters four days prior to their assigned exam date via the same portal. The official website, rrbapply.gov.in, offers options to recover registration numbers and reset passwords.
Aadhaar Verification Mandatory
The Board has reiterated that Aadhaar authentication is compulsory for entry into the exam centre. Applicants must carry their original Aadhaar card or a printed version with verified e-KYC. Biometric verification at the exam venue will also be linked to Aadhaar.
To support candidates, a dedicated RRB helpdesk is available at +91 9513631887, operational Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM. RRB has cautioned candidates to rely only on official updates and avoid fraudulent intermediaries, stressing that the recruitment process is transparent and merit-based.
