RRB Group D aspirants await the CAT court verdict to confirm the final exam dates for the 2025 recruitment cycle.
Earlier, the RRB Group D Exam 2025, scheduled for Level 1 posts under CEN 08/2024, was to be held from the 17th of November to the 31st of December. Presently, the final schedule hinges on today's (November 4, 2025) verdict by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) court.
The uncertainty started after the Delhi High Court passed a stay order following a contempt petition regarding the recruitment process. Later, the matter was transferred to the CAT, which ordered all RRBs to stay all proceedings until the resolution of the case.
The verdict that was to be passed on October 30 got delayed to November 4, alongside which candidates are eager. Whatever verdict is passed by the court might determine whether the RRB Group D exam occurs as planned or undergoes another round of delays.
An updated examination schedule by RRB will then be published on its official websites once the CAT verdict is out. Candidates are exhorted to go with official RRB notifications alone and stay away from spurious and misleading information circulating out there in social media. The RRB Group D 2025 examination shall be conducted as a Computer-Based Test once the dates are confirmed finally.
