Dance program at RINL Formation Day celebration
Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) Chairman-cum-Managing Director Atul Bhatt has called for all-out efforts for achieving turnaround for Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in 2024.
RINL is the corporate entity of VSP, which has a 7.3 million tonne integrated steel plant here. RINL is one among many PSUs listed by the government of India for strategic disinvestment by way of 100 per cent privatisation. Bhatt was speaking at the forty-second formation day of RINL here on Sunday. As part of the celebrations, he along with Nupur Bhatt, president, Visteel Mahila samithi inaugurated an impressive exhibition put up by the students of Ukkunagaram schools in the premises of Ukkunagaram Club. A variety of cultural programs by the Ukkunagaram school students enthralled the audience.
Congratulating the RINL collective, Bhatt exuded confidence that RINL can achieve the turnaround with the talent and commitment of the entire RINL collective. “We have a great responsibility on our shoulders to carry on the tradition of making RINL the most preferred steel company. I am sure with the passion, dedication and indomitable spirit of the RINL collective; we will definitely keep the flag of RINL flying high. On this occasion let us together pledge to make 2024 a turnaround year for RINL”, he said.
Later the CMD presented the prestigious Jawahar Nehru awards to selected executives and non-executives in recognition of their outstanding performance. He also presented CISF commendation awards to select CISF personnel in recognition of their outstanding performance.
