Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on an ambitious five‑nation diplomatic tour from July 2 to July 9, 2025, marking his longest overseas mission in a decade. The tour spans Africa, the Caribbean, and South America, reflecting India’s growing global outreach.

Ghana (July 2–3): Modi makes history as the first Indian PM in 30 years to visit Ghana. Highlights include championing a local vaccine manufacturing hub and delivering a keynote speech in Ghana’s Parliament.

Trinidad & Tobago (July 4–5): Responding to an invitation from Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Modi becomes the first Indian PM in 25 years to visit. He’s set to address a Joint Session of Parliament.

Argentina (July 5–6): At the request of President Javier Milei, the visit includes bilateral discussions spanning defence, agriculture, mining, oil & gas, renewables, trade, and investment.

Brazil (July 6–7): Modi attends the 17th BRICS Summit, marking his fourth visit to Brazil. Key agenda items include counter-terrorism, especially calling attention to the recent Pahalgam attack, and shaping the BRICS declaration.

Namibia (July 8–9): The final stop sees another historic moment: Modi becomes the first Indian PM in 27 years to visit. He’ll meet President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, address Parliament, and launch India’s UPI system in Namibia.

This diplomatic sprint reflects India's strategy to deepen partnerships across continents in sectors like health, digital tech, energy, and security.
