Nitish Kumar takes oath as Bihar Chief Minister for the 10th time during the NDA government’s swearing-in ceremony at Gandhi Maidan, Patna.

Thursday saw the grand meeting at Gandhi Maidan where aboard, Bihar saw Shri Nitish Kumar get sworn in as its Chief Minister an umpteenth time. The governor of the state, Arif Mohammad Khan, as it was the occasion, administered the oath with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief J. P. Nadda, as well as many NDA Chief Ministers.
Kolodays ost election, NDA Legislature, unanimously elected the leader of JD(U), just a day after he resigned from the governor's post to stake claim to form a new government.
26 Ministers Sworn In
Following Nitish Kumar’s oath, 26 leaders took oath as Cabinet Ministers — 14 from the BJP, 8 from JD(U), 2 from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), and one each from HAM(S) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.

NDA Celebrates Historic Mandate
Union Minister Nityanand Rai said the people of Bihar had “created history,” while Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat expressed confidence that the new government would turn Bihar into a “growth engine of Viksit Bharat.”
Large crowds, including thousands of Jeevika Didis benefiting from state welfare initiatives, gathered at Gandhi Maidan as cultural performances by BJP leaders Manoj Tiwari and Pawan Singh energised the venue ahead of the ceremony.
