An extremist from the country's pro-Khalistan party broke the security of foreign Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in London as he rushed towards the minister's car. He then tore the Indian flag in front of the police.

A viral video shows the suspect rapidly advancing on S Jaishankar's vehicle. Profiting from the initial reluctance of cops, the defiant protester ripped the tricolour out in the front of the vehicle while other protesters made noises and shouted slogans.

After a few minutes of hesitation after which the police intervened and took him as well as other extremists off.

Another video released through the news media ANI captured the protesters from the pro-Khalistan extremist group in front of Chatham House. The group is seen waving flags, and chanting pro-Khalistani chants.

S Jaishankar defends India's Kashmir position

During his trip on his trip to UK, EAM S Jaishankar engaged in long-lasting talks in Chevening House with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy. They discussed a variety of bilateral issues, such as the strategic coordination of cooperation, political co-operation and trade talks and education, technological mobility and people-to-people exchanges during talks.

Then on Wednesday evening, Jaishankar went to Chatham House for a scheduled meeting and firmly supported India's policy, and denied any requirement for a third-party intervention in the Kashmir question.
