J&K Weather Update: Intermittent snowfall predicted till Jan 23

The Meteorological Department (MeT) has forecast intermittent snowfall in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) until January 23. Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in the Jammu plains during this period.
Detailed Weather Outlook:
January 18-19: Partly to generally cloudy skies with a chance of very light snow at isolated higher reaches.
January 20-21: Generally cloudy weather with light snow expected at isolated to scattered locations across J&K.
January 22: Light rain is likely in the Jammu plains, accompanied by snow at scattered places in both Kashmir and Jammu divisions.
January 23: Moderate rainfall is predicted in the Jammu plains, with widespread snowfall expected across many areas of J&K.
The weather is likely to turn dry from January 24 to 27, providing some respite. The MeT department advises tourists, travelers, and transporters to stay updated with advisories from the administration and traffic authorities.
