Vijayawada: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in the Andhra Pradesh Formation Day celebrations and hoisted the National Flag besides paying floral tributes to the statue of Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu at the Camp Office here on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister received guard of honour from the police personnel on the occasion.
He also released a book titled ‘Swatantrodyamamlo Andhrulu: Unsung Heroes’ authored by R Mallikarjuna Rao, Director, Department of Language and Culture.
Tourism Minister RK Roja, Women and Child Welfare Minister KV Ushasri Charan, Chief Secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, DGP KV Rajendranath Reddy, Special Chief Secretary (Culture & Tourism) Dr Rajat Bhargava, senior officials and people’s representatives participated in the programme.
