India engages world from position of strength: Jaishankar

Mumbai: India is engaging with international partners more intensively from a position of strength, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Tuesday, citing recent trade deals and asserting that the “reform express” will continue to roll forward.

The world is witnessing the weaponisation of production and finance, leveraging of market shares and tightening of export controls. Added to this are uncertainties on the demand side due to bilateral tariffs, he said.
