Hyderabad: Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Green Building Council on Wednesday host 30 delegates from 20 countries at its headquarter in Hyderabad.
The delegates from, Argentina , Botswana, Bulgaria, Burundi, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Kenya, Maldives, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Philippines , South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, attended a session at IGBC. They had earlier visited the World’s Greenest Building in 2003. Commenting on the visit, C Shekar Reddy, Chairman, CII – IGBC Hyderabad Chapter, and Chairman, CII Telangana, said: “We are thrilled to have hosted such a distinguished group of delegates from around the world. The knowledge they possess and the willpower they have towards the betterment of the environment underscores the global significance of sustainable urban development and the role of organisations like IGBC in fostering environmental stewardship.”
