The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) announced the launch of a customized fuel named ‘STORM’ for the 2024 season of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC). This high-octane racing fuel was developed specifically for premium superbikes and adheres to stringent international specifications.
The virtual launch ceremony was officiated by Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing and Urban Affairs. The event at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Nava Sheva recently saw other notable attendees including Pankaj Jain, Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, and Shrikant Madhav Vaidya, Chairman of IndianOil. Hardeep Singh Puri, said “for the first time IndianOil has commenced the production of category 2 race fuel, aptly named STORM, from Gujarat refinery.”
