Hyderabad: GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and a leader in digital engineering, has opened a new satellite office in Mahbubnagar, Telangana dedicated to its content engineering business operations. This initiative marks the introduction of their hub-and-spoke model, strategically positioning themselves to tap into tier 2/3 cities near existing hubs and talent hotspots.

The company is dedicated to leveraging local talent for strategic growth and expanding its footprint across regional markets through this new facility. As part of its expansion strategy, it has also partnered with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), a not for profit organisation of the State government focused towards skilling the youth and making them more employable. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of Piyush Jha, Group Vice President & Managing Director – APAC at GlobalLogic, along with senior leaders from the organisation present at the event. The new 18,000-sq-ft facility has a seating capacity of 180 and will serve as a hub for innovation and technological advancement.

On the occasion, he said: “In our pursuit of top-notch talent, we are expanding our horizons beyond the large metros, reaching into smaller towns within 100-200 kilometers of main hubs. Recognizing the latent potential in these areas, in the post Covid distributed engineering era, we are proactively choosing to work where the talent resides, avoiding the need for them to relocate.”

“On one hand, this approach allows us to efficiently discover skilled individuals across the length and breadth of the country, on the other, it takes development to hinterlands of India,” said Piyush. “The new facility underscores our commitment to fostering innovation, driving economic growth, and creating employment opportunities. This will further our DEI mission and deliver impactful solutions.”

Avnish Singh, SVP and Global Head of Content Engineering, GlobalLogic, said, “Embracing diversity and inclusivity is more than a business strategy. It's our commitment to uplifting communities. This is a groundbreaking initiative as we will be tapping into the local talent pool and establishing university tie-ups for higher education.”

“We are not just creating job opportunities but fostering growth in tier 2/3 cities. It's a testament to our belief in providing opportunities for those who choose to stay close to their roots for personal, financial, or other reasons. We envision a workforce thriving globally without leaving behind families or native places," he added.
