Future City prepped with high-tech facilities and security for the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025.

Hyderabad is all set to hold the Telangana Rising Global Summit at the Future City, Meerkhanpet, on the 8th and 9th of December. The site, which will cover an area of 100 acres, is going to be a modern infrastructure equipped with rapid digital connectivity, solid power supply, and a security arrangement that allows for various levels of access and control to welcome the crème de la crème of industry, finance, and society.
Eight Special Venues Over 14,000 Sq. Metres
The summit grounds will feature eight specially designed spaces, including the main inaugural hall, breakout session halls, media rooms, delegation lounges, joining halls, police and fire stations, and exclusive interaction rooms for Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to meet global leaders.
Dry Run Scheduled; Senior Officials Oversee Preparations
Work is in its final phase. A full dry run will be held on Sunday to ensure smooth operations. Senior officials including DGP Shivadhar Reddy, TGIC MD Shashank, HMWS MD Ashok Reddy, Rachakonda CP Sudheer Babu, and SPEED Additional CEO EV Narasimha Reddy are monitoring the arrangements.
The DGP conducted a two-hour inspection on Friday to review the complete security blueprint.
Robust Power Supply with Underground Network
To ensure uninterrupted electricity, TSSPDCL has laid a 2-km underground double-circuit supply line from the Mirbanpet substation. Transformers ranging from 100 kVA to 315 kVA have been installed, with a mobile transformer on standby. Around 150 technical staff will monitor power supply round the clock.
10 Gbps Internet for 10,000 Users
T-Fiber has created a fully underground digital network enabling 10 Gbps internet speed for up to 10,000 simultaneous users. A Network Operations Centre (NOC) and QR code–based single-step login will support seamless connectivity. Airtel and Jio have added temporary towers to boost mobile network strength.
LED Screens & Massive Cooling Systems
Large LED screens across the 100-acre site will broadcast summit sessions and Telangana Rising visuals. The main stage features an 85-metre LED screen. Across eight halls, air-conditioning systems with a combined cooling capacity of 3,000 tonnes ensure comfort for attendees.
Facilities for 5,000 Participants
Approximately 2,000 global and Indian delegates will attend, with total on-ground presence expected to reach 5,000, including officials and staff. Dining zones covering 6,500 sq. metres, drinking water, sanitation, and other public conveniences are being readied. Post-summit, the venue will remain open for public viewing until December 13.
Three-Tier Security With 1,000 CCTV Cameras
A comprehensive three-layer security grid is being deployed. Nearly 1,000 CCTV cameras will be linked to a central control room. Over 1,500 police personnel from multiple commissionerates and an additional 1,000 traffic police officers will manage security, diversions, and parking.
Road Upgrades & Final Landscaping
Approach roads, especially along the Tukkuguda–Srisailam highway, have been relaid and cleared. Hoardings showcasing Telangana Rising initiatives—industry, women’s empowerment, youth, agriculture, and human resources—decorate the route from the Outer Ring Road to Future City.
