Hyderabad: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry is going to organise a conclave on ‘GST and globalization,’ in Hyderabad on February 10. This programme will examine the evolution of the idea of GST following its implementation in 2017. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana and Minister for Industries and Commerce D Sridhar Babu will be the chief guest. Dr T K Sreedevi, Commissioner of Commercial Taxes; Sandeep Prakash, Chief Commissioner of Customs and Central Tax, Hyderabad Zone are invited as guests of honour.
The panel discussions will be handled by CFOs and CEOs of prominent organisations from different business sectors. GST is implemented in India, as part of the ‘one nation one tax’ idea and to increase tax system transparency. GST is a single tax system that many nations throughout the world have embraced.
