The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday organised a seminar on ‘Sustainability Framework for Industries.’ More than 100 participants from different disciplines of Environment and Sustainability from various industries in the city attended the seminar.
The day-long seminar had sessions such on GreenCo Rating—India’s way forward for sustainability, GRI: Framework on Sustainability Reporting for Industry, Carbon Disclosure Project Reporting, EcoVadis and Supply Chain Management -Experience Sharing, and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report Principles and Reporting Requirements.
In his opening remarks, Meela Jayadev, president, FTCCI said that sustainability is not merely a buzzword but a call to action that requires a comprehensive and strategic approach. It is important to discover how your industry can thrive while contributing to a greener, more socially responsible world.
