New Delhi:The Financial Services Institutions Bureau(FSIB) has chosen S Sivasankar, general manger, National Insurance Company, for the position of executive director of New India Assurance.
The post in NIA will fall vacant after Smita Srivastava retires on Dec 31.
The head hunting institution of the government interfaced with three candidates, Chandra Iyer, GM , NIA, V. Balkrishna, GM, GIC Re and Sivasankar, on Wednesday for selecting a new ED for NIA.
Keeping in view their performance in the interface, their overall experience and the extant parameters, the Bureau recommended Sivasankar, said FSIB.
