Amit, 32, begins his day at 5 a.m. pushing his vegetable cart and returns home by evening to his wife Rita and their two young children. His life changed dramatically when he discovered that his ticket had bagged the top prize worth ₹11 crore.

However, tracking him down wasn’t easy — Amit’s broken phone made it difficult for lottery officials to reach him after the results were announced on November 1. He finally learned about his win from a neighbour while at work, initially dismissing it as a dream.
