East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO), Waltair Division, on Monday felicitated the wards of Railway employees who demonstrated remarkable academic excellence and exceptional performance in various competitive examinations during the academic years 2024 and 2025.
The felicitation ceremony, presided over by Jyotsna Bohra, president, ECoRWWO (Waltair), was a celebration of the young achievers for their outstanding accomplishments. Vice president Gayatri Santharam, secretary Ankita Sharma, and other executive members of the organisation were present.
The programme was not only a recognition of academic merit but also an occasion of joy and festivity. Along with the scholarship distribution, an engaging cultural programme was presented, adding vibrancy and enthusiasm to the event.
A total of 340 deserving students received scholarships. The beneficiaries included high scorers in SSC and Intermediate examinations as well as rank holders in prestigious competitive exams such as IIT, Medical, and Engineering entrance tests. Awards were also presented to winners of various competitions conducted by ECoRWWO, Waltair.
The scholarships reflect ECoRWWO’s continued commitment to encouraging and supporting academic excellence among the children of Railway employees. The organisation remains committed in its mission to nurture young talent and inspire them to achieve greater heights.
